Alphonse Joseph

Alphonse Joseph originally from Cape Breton Island, steeped in a traditional family music-oriented family

Began playing guitar at 12 years old, and never stopped as music provided a great sense of peace and security. Move to Kimberly British Columbia found a place that was as friendly and welcoming as my homeland of Cape Breton. Needless to say,  I stayed where work was good and music became an each and every day part of my life, even into retirement. Playing a wide variety of music where I get write lots of my own tunes. I find something to be grateful for each and every day, and work towards kindness giving and receiving.

strange 2ruth

Aka Sean Hoeksema, a Metis/Nehiyaw(Cree) first nation artist based out of Cranbrook B.C. (The unceded territory of the Ktunaxa)
Originally from Rocky mtn House, Alberta, Strange 2ruth cultivated a contemporary hip hop sound some call old school but like the art form and genre itself, forever evolving.
First hitting the stage in 2012, Sean has had the opportunity to open and even appear on tracks with acts such as, Moka Only, Merkules, Snak the Ripper and more. Plus, even a few local stars like Cranbrooklyn's Maddisun.
"Though personally I think my most notably show opening is probably for Krayzie and Wish Bone of Bonethugs n Harmony... child hood favorites and idols." Big thanks to Isaac Hockley for a few of those, for real.

Strange 2ruth will also have the pleasure of having his DJ, his homie more importantly, NEWMAN aka James Newman, rock with him on the, One's and Twos.
