Jody Lutzke

Jody was raised in Fernie, British Columbia, Canada. By the age of 2 she connected with spirit. Family members recall her communicating with imaginary friends on a regular basis and though she was often teased for it, she always believed what she saw. The age of 10 presented a whole new experience for her. She was faced with the death of her father. For years to follow, death became a prominent part of her life, as she had lost many family members. A close friend of Jody’s, tragically lost her nephew in an accident. It wasn’t until this life altering event that Jody revealed her life long secret.  She finally felt that she was ready to step forward and accept and share her amazing gift, the ability to connect with the other side. Jody’s goal is to bring awareness and healing to the friends and families that are left here to grieve the loss of their loved ones. During a reading you will discover that your loved ones are always with you, knowing, seeing, guiding and protecting what you do, while you continue your journey here in the physical world.

Barbara phillips

Barbara Phillips is a 62 year old spoken word artist/playwright from Vancouver BC. Canada. She was raised on Dr. Seuss, A.A. Milne and Monty Python in a free thinking arts-orientated home. She has a theatre arts background. Her poetry is a combination of satire and pathos that identify both the struggles and the grace she has walked through in life.

She loves to dance, sing and explore nature. Her poems have been celebrated in prisons, convents, coffee houses, peace marches for over 28 years. Sometimes she neglects the stage/audience orientation and integrates her work with common daily life. She often seeks out other artists to work with.

Phillips lives in a quiet cabin in the Rocky Mountains with her life partner Kevin.

She is a certified member in good standing of the Lunatics’ Liberation Front of Vancouver.

MYSTIK LILLIES

The Mystik Lilies are a Cranbrook crew made up of a writer, an engineer, and public art enthusiasts. They are inspired by lantern festivals, kinetic sculpture races, and events such as the Austin Bike Zoo, the Orange Show's Houston Art Car Parade, and the Parade of Lost Souls by the now defunct and greatly missed Vancouver Public Dreams Society. They are delighted to be a part of the first annual Ed Fest.
