MY SON THE HURRICANE is a multi-horn, multi-drummer, multi-singer brass funk beast from Niagara, ON. The 12-piece brass-dance crew has toured over multiple countries and played some of Canada, USA, UK, Scandinavia, Belgium, Mexico, Lithuania, and France’s biggest festivals.
The band features trumpets, saxophones, trombones, drums, guitar, keys, percussion and a wild front woman…they dare you not to dance! In 2023, My Son the Hurricane’s “Mr. Holland’s Locust” received over 30 million views online. In 2025, the band took on an over 70-date Canada, United States, and Europe-wide tour with new singer Sarah Faz. They’ve shared the stage with acts like Foo Fighters, Jason Isbell, I Mother Earth and Colin James.

Lemon Bucket Orkestra are Toronto's original Slavic brass punks. The award-winning crew has been called frenetic, charismatic, and gloriously anarchic by the New York Times, The Guardian, the Winnipeg Free Press and media across the globe and over the past 16 years have performed all over the world from WOMAD in England and New Zealand and Pohoda in Slovakia, Festival D’Été in Québec City to New Orleans Jazz Fest in Louisiana.
Equal parts exhilarating precision and reckless abandon, LBO live is a truly immersive experience mixing sweat and tears with audience chorales and howling at the moon. You can hear that journey on their latest album Cuckoo (self-released, May 2024). It’s signature LBO: powerful Ukrainian polyphony and driving Balkan rhythms filtered through hip hop, punk and jazz and a whole range of global influences and purpose accrued from their eclectic global journeys and polycultural home city of Toronto alike.

Brass Roots is a 12-piece jazz ensemble featuring accomplished musicians from across the East Kootenays. Their diverse repertoire includes Chick Corea's "Spain," Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love,"the timeless "Sway," the iconic "Mission: Impossible Theme," and swing classics such as "Sing, Sing, Sing." Cara Luft is one of Canada’s most respected and beloved singer-songwriters. Known for her warmth, authenticity and exceptional musicianship, Luft has won awards and amassed legions of fans captivated by her talent for pairing heart-on-your-sleeve lyricism with indelible ear-catching melodies.
As she turned 50, Luft faced multiple transitions: buying her first home, navigating perimenopause, receiving an ADHD diagnosis, and the ending of her decade-long duo project The Small Glories. Rethinking how she wanted to live and work moving forward from this period of upheaval & transformation, Cara's guiding principle was simple: to write and record with friends who embodied kindness, consideration and generosity of spirit.
The result is a tour de force, radiating clarity, freedom, and hard-won self-trust. My Heart Will Always Be is both a personal declaration and a celebration of music’s enduring power to heal, connect and bring joy.
Performing with Cara Luft is her self-proclaimed younger brother and Cranbrook local, Clayton Parsons of The Parsons. The Parsons duo was recognized by the Kootenay Music Awards with the Album of the Year for their debut release in 2016.

Hailing from the heart of the East Kootenays, Side Hustle is a Cranbrook‑based five‑piece known for turning every stage into a full‑throttle party. Blending Classic Rock, Country, and Heavy Metal with their own high‑energy edge, they deliver a dynamic setlist that keeps dance floors packed and crowds coming back for more.
Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Paul Dyson, the band’s sound is driven by the melodic keys of Gordon Michael Clark, the rock‑solid grooves of drummer Rene Volf, the electrifying guitar work of Boyd Buckley, and the unmistakable low‑end pulse of Dave “Just Dave” Turner on bass. Together, they bring tight musicianship, big harmonies, and a genuine love for the songs that get people moving.
